Every little bit helps. In the last year, Alivia’s Rainbows has raised over $50,000 for its cause, which supports Niagara families who have to make frequent trips to the pediatric oncology ward at McMaster’s Children’s Hospital. On Tuesday, the local charity received a $616 donation from Fort Erie Secondary School, raised by over 20 male [...] Thank you to Mark Strugar for another successful 1,000 Ball Challenge held at the Fort Erie Golf Course. Almost $4,000 was donated to Alivias Rainbows. Thanks to the Strom family. The 2nd annual Alec Strom Memorial Golf Tournament was held on a rainy day at Whisky Run and was a tremendous success. Thank you for donating proceeds to our cause. Thanks to Janey Burns, a.k.a. Griffin’s grandma. She has been working tirelessly to make some beautiful gazing balls found in many gardens all over. For each ball made, it is roughly 10 hours of labour. She has graciously donated all her time so that she can donate to Alivia’s Rainbows. We thank her so much [...] Thanks to Riley Hubbard from Barrie (Alivias friend since birth) for holding a lemonade stand to support children with cancer. Big hugs! Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Ally and Jeremy Phillips. They were married Thanksgiving weekend and in lieu of favors they have made a generous donation to Alivia’s Rainbows. Thank you very much, it is greatly appreciated. Sara and Megan, along with mom and dad (Kris and Bernie) held their Second Annual Lemonade Stand. The girls provided wonderful refreshments for all and raised an amazing $300 for Alivia’s Rainbows! Well done girls, we appreciate it so much! Thank you to the Caruana family for the special Pampered Chef event ran by Grace Wybraniak. $340 was raised for Alivia’s Rainbows! Thank you! Starlight Variety Show was held at the Sanctuary in November. Many talented artists came out to support. It was a wonderful evening filled with song and dance, juggling and comedy. Thanks to all the brilliant performers who came to support and thanks to all who attended. Cathy and Katie have tirelessly helped in all Alivia’s [...] Mark Strugar, local pro golfer, raised and donated over $3,000 in proceeds from his incredible 1,000 Ball Challenge event held on Aug.14th at Fort Erie Golf Club.
